Little Guppies Admin

What this app is

Little Guppies Admin is the private tool used to run Little Guppies Swimming, a small swim school in the North Bay, California. It keeps track of swim lessons, which families have attended them, what has been billed, and what has been paid.

It is not a public product and there is nothing to sign up for. Access is limited to a short list of Google accounts belonging to the people who run the business — any other account is refused at sign-in.

What it does

• Shows the lesson schedule for the season, drawn from the instructor's calendar.
• Tracks each family's lessons, balance and signed waiver.
• Records payments and matches them to the right family.
• Keeps an audit trail of changes, so figures can be checked later.

How it uses Google data

Signing in with Google lets the app read the business's own scheduling and payment information. It asks for read-only access and cannot create, change or delete anything in your Google account.

• Google Calendar (read only) — reads swim lesson appointments from the instructor's calendar so lessons appear in the schedule and can be billed. Only events that look like swim lessons are stored.
• Gmail (read only) — finds Venmo payment notification emails so payments can be matched to the right family. No other mail is stored.
• Basic profile — confirms the signed-in address is on the access list, and attributes changes in the audit log.

This data is used only to run the swim school. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared outside the business. Our use of information from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
